Who is this Harlequin? A Man? A Devil? Or Just a Mask?
Harlequin, a mysterious character of contradiction and unknown origin, is the somewhat beleaguered hero of the show. Based in a world created loosely in the style of the Commedia Dell’Arte (a 16th century form of Italian Comedic theatre), Harlequin finds himself embroiled in the unfortunate affairs of the cunningly shrewd Columbina, whose mother, the widowed and financially destitute Pantaloona, wishes to marry her off to the wealthy Scaramouche.
But Columbina has other plans and with the aid of Harlequin, makes her escape. In fear of her daughter's safety and her own financial stability, Pantaloona makes a deal with the dangerous Tick Tock Man, a creature of uncertain motive, whose actions cause Harlequin's existence to spiral out of control.
Can Harlequin manage to save his endangered soul or will the tide of consequence following in his path creep up and consume him?

Harlequin is a rogue and a scoundrel who relishes in being mischievous and creating chaos where ever he goes. Harlequin has fallen in love with the lady Columbina. but does she share his admiration?

Columbina is a young lady born into what was once a great house. But since her father died, the manor has fallen apart. Columbina’s mother, Signora Pantaloona, has plans to marry her off to a rich courtier, the Lord Scaramouche, in order to save the estate. But Columbina has other plans.

Pierrette is a servant within Signora Pantaloona’s estate. Born a mute, Pierrette finds it hard to communicate with those around her, and constantly finds herself at the wrong end of any situation. To make matters worse, she has found herself enamoured by the roguish Harlequin and the mischief he gets into. This can not surely end well.

Pantaloona is the lady of the house. Recently widowed she has discovered her late husband left behind a multitude of gambling debts, and with no way to pay them off, has found the estate in which she resides truly in danger of being taken away from her. But she has her daughter Columbina, a pretty young lady who is widely admired. Columbina holds her only hope of saving her failing fortune.
“I Am Scaramouche”
The Lord Scaramouche has found himself at the top end of society, thanks largely to a large inheritance, as well as a willingness to do anything (just so long as it isn’t his hands getting dirty). He is a cruel and lecherous man, and with wealth enough to do whatever he so wishes. Being quick to temper, his encounter with the roguish Harlequin immediately makes enemies of them.

The Tick Tock Man is a mysterious and dangerous man. Little is known of him beyond that you never want to encounter or have any dealings with him. He is a master of the mechanical and the supernatural.
